Arielle wins award at Engineering Open House!

As a part of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), Arielle co-lead the Growing Prosthetic project displayed at UIUC's 2018 Engineering Open House. The Growing Prosthetic is a hand and arm prosthetic designed for young children to grow as they grow. Many individuals enjoyed the interactive display and were able to control the prosthetic themselves via electrodes places on the user's arm. The project was a success winning the 3rd place award for best real world application.
